We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Laravel Developer with Shopify Expertise to join our team on a freelance basis. This role is perfect for a problem-solver who thrives on building efficient, scalable systems and has a proven track record of creating seamless integrations between Laravel and Shopify.

In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing and enhancing our existing web applications. You will take the lead on developing new features, implementing robust middleware, and ensuring our Laravel backend and Shopify storefront work together flawlessly to deliver an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using the Laravel framework.

• Build, customize, and manage seamless integrations between our Laravel backend and Shopify platform via the Admin API and GraphQL.

• Develop and implement custom middleware for authentication, logging, and request processing.

• Optimize existing applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.

• Collaborate with our team to define, design, and ship new features.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Senior Laravel Developer with a deep understanding of the Laravel ecosystem (Eloquent, Blade, Service Providers, etc.).

• Extensive, hands-on experience with Shopify integration, including:

  • Shopify REST Admin API and GraphQL.

  • Building custom apps or public apps for Shopify.

  • Syncing product, order, and customer data.

• Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

• Solid experience with front-end technologies (e.g., Vue.js, React, or Alpine.js) is a plus.

• Demonstrable knowledge of middleware implementation and application architecture.

• Experience with database design and optimization (MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Familiarity with version control tools, specifically Git.

• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
